John Hall

CINEMATOGRAPHER/PROFESSOR

With a vision for creating impactful images, John brings a blend of on-set experience and a reflective teaching approach. After decades of working in professional production environments, he understands the technical demands, creative problem-solving, and real-world collaboration required to bring a film to life.

DIRECTOR/STUDIO OWNER

Focused, approachable, and driven, Hugh brings decades of experience to every creative endeavour he pursues. His vast knowledge of lighting, storytelling, and the professional production environment allows him to provide a unique learning experience for everyone he mentors.

Creative and strategic in equal measure, Chris brings fresh ideas to every project, each role, and in the classroom—his wealth of knowledge in front of and behind the camera inspires his unique approach when he teaches the craft of filmmaking.

Focused, detail-oriented, and quietly confident, Justin is an up-and-coming filmmaker with experience as both a cinematographer and camera assistant. His efficiency and precision as a camera assistant set the tone for the entire department, and he leads by example. He is a Santa Ana College DM255 immersive filmmaking alum.
Orlando Baez

FILMMAKER/SET GRIP & ELECTRIC
Grounded, even-keeled, and fun to work with, Orlando brings a laidback confidence to every set he’s on. As a cinematographer, grip, and set electrician, he moves fluidly between departments while keeping energy high and stress low. An immersive filmmaking alum at Santa Ana College, DM255, Orlando leads with a collaborative spirit and reminds everyone that great work and a good attitude are not mutually exclusive.
Abel Morales

FILMMAKER/SET GRIP & ELECTRIC
Grounded and dependable, Abel brings a calm presence to set while working with a clear sense of urgency that keeps productions moving forward. As a cinematographer, grip, and set electrician, he leads by example through efficiency, preparation, and a strong work ethic. A Santa Ana College DM255 immersive filmmaking alum, Abel is currently studying film at Cal State Long Beach.

Detail-oriented, highly observant, and incredibly adaptable, Silvia brings exactly the skill set you want in a strong script supervisor. She works with a clear sense of urgency and a disciplined work ethic while maintaining a bright, positive presence on set.
